When you're done, go to **this link** and hit the Sign Up button. The sign up process will not complete unless you fill in your Battle Net username and Character Code in your profile - you will be taken to the appropriate page after hitting the Sign Up button if you hadn't done the necessary adjustment before. If you want to cancel your registration, use the same button at any time.\r\n\r\nSign Up closes on May 7th at 7:30 pm EDT.\r\n\r\n##Check In\r\n\r\nStarting at **7:30 pm EDT** on the day of the tournament, all participants must check in to reserve their spot in the bracket. To do so, hit the **Check In button on this link**. In case of any problems, just message the tournament admin **Wolfboy.120, SuicidalDark.682 and thisismyname.268**. Check In closes at **8:00pm** EDT. Please don't be late!\r\n\r\nIf you don't manage to Sign Up in time and still want to take part in the tournament, it's usually possible. However, you won't be able to sign up the usual way and you'll have to come to our **chat channel SCVRush** and PM the tour admin - he'll tell you what to do next.\r\n\r\n##Grand Prize\r\n\r\nThe champion will be awarded one hour of free coaching with our prestigious [Master coaching staff](http://scvrush.com/posts/tag/coach)!\r\n\r\n##Tournament Rules\r\n\r\n###1. Tournament Race\r\n\r\nAll players must use the same Race throughout the event. Random is allowed. All players must also use the race displayed in their profile as \"Most used\" in 1v1.\r\n\r\n### 2. Private Messages Blocking\r\n\r\nSome players use the feature that disallows other people to send them a private message unless they're on the Friends list. Please make sure you turn this off before the tournament begins to enable admins and your opponents to contact you.\r\n\r\n###3. Match Beginning\r\n\r\nAfter the tournament begins, players may continue playing rounds as the bracket updates. If your opponent does not show or is unresponsive, please report him to an admin and wait for 10 minutes. If he fails to response after this period of time, he will then be disqualified immediately. However, you may be chosen to get featured on our stream, in which case you are obliged to wait until your admin gives you the green light to proceed.\r\n\r\n###4. Observers\r\n\r\nOther players may observe tournament games provided both participants allow it. If lag issues arise, all observers must leave the game. Staff Members or Casting Partners of SCV Rush may observe any match at any time.\r\n\r\n###5. Replays\r\n\r\nAll replays must be saved by both players for possible future investigation. Failure to comply the first time will result in a warning. A second failure will result in disqualification.\r\n\r\n###6. Disconnects\r\n\r\nIf a player disconnects within the first **5 minutes**, the game will be restarted. After 5 minutes, the disconnected player forfeits the game. If there are any objections to this rule (a player was the decided victor before 5 minutes, for example) players may contact a tournament admin, who will review the replay and determine whether a regame will be played. However, this exception may be applied only once during a round.\r\n\r\n###7. Stalemates\r\n\r\nIn the event of a stalemate, the game will be replayed. The full in-game stalemate timer must elapse before players may start a regame.\r\n\r\n###8. Manner\r\n\r\nIn-game chat should be limited to the initial good luck, and then good game, expressions. You can of course chat besides that, but after one player expresses the wish to concentrate on the game, the other one must comply. \r\n\r\n**Any** communication containing hateful, racial, sexual or otherwise offending content will result in a warning; failure to rectify the bad manner will then result in disqualification. The tournament admins reserve the right to judge what is offensive and what is not.\r\n\r\n###9. Stream Cheating, Hacking, Illegal Advantages\r\n\r\nStreaming your games during the tournament is forbidden - please forward your fans to the [SCV Rush Stream](http://twitch.tv/scvrush1) instead.\r\n\r\nAny player abusing an illegal advantage over his opponent will be instantly disqualified from the current event and banned from two future SCV Rush events. The tournament admins reserve the right to decide what determines this illegal practice.\r\n\r\n###10. Opponent Accusations\r\n\r\nMost of our tournaments are skill limited and therefore there is a possibility of smurfing. It is your duty to report weird accounts, however a continuous whining and accusations will result in a warning (followed by disqualification from the tournament). In general, if a player is accused of smurfing twice from different opponents, the admin staff investigates the issue further.\r\n\r\n###11. Check Your Opponent's League & Race\r\n\r\nWe've had a large number of cases recently where players entered the tournament without being in an appropriate league (e.g. Bronze players tried to play in Plat/Dia). The easiest way to fix it is you checking your opponent's profile before you begin to play and if you see a wrong league, contact the tour administrator immediately.\r\n\r\nAlso, in accordance to the rule #1, make sure your opponent plays the race his profile suggests he or she should.\r\n\r\n### 12. Rule of Common Sense\r\n\r\nSCV Rush uses ladder as the major (and only) criterion to accept people into our skill limited tournaments. People who will display any of the following characteristics will be disqualified immediately:\r\n\r\n- you didn't ladder recently (20 games / last 7 days) and you are clearly above the skill level of the said tournament.\r\n- you intentionally dropped your ranking e.g. when you changed your race\r\n- you play a different race than the one you ladder with (see Rule #1) \r\n- you have a new account and your large percentage of wins suggests you do not belong in the league you're in\r\n- you have been repeatedly convicted of bad manner\r\n\r\nThe ladder games rule is used especially when it comes to determining whether you're in the correct league or not. \r\n\r\n### 13. No Laddering During Tour \r\n\r\nAlthough we understand that sometimes the intervals between your games can be quite long, anyone caught laddering while his opponent is standing by will immediately forfeit the said match / series. \r\n\r\nWe suggest to watch our live stream, talk in the chat room or do some other activities which, while being pleasant, keep you ready to play your next match.\r\n\r\n**In all cases, admins reserve the right to decide at their sole discretion.**\r\n\r\n##Important Links\r\n\r\n- **Register / Login**\r\n\r\n- **Sign Up**\r\n\r\n- **Check In** - hit the button **here**, in case of problems message **SuicidalDark.682 and thisismyname.268** on the chat channel **SCVRush**\r\n\r\n- **Stream**","image":"/assets/post_default_image.png","tag_list":["event","tournament","na","bsg"]}}
